Sew & Tell

This week I have been working hard with this scrap quilt - I have quilted and made a nice binding of scraps as you can see by the picture below. I sewed together short strips until the binding was long enough for the quilt. I have used wool batting and a multicolor tread for quilting. The quilt is a present to my sister on her 70th birthday.  (I hope she does not read this blog).
